9 things you need to know about our Token Sale
The Token Sale for GLOBCOIN starts this February 12th, 2018. In case you’re interested in joining us, here is some useful information to guide you through the process.
1. We accept Ethers, Bitcoins and Fiat currencies
In principle, our Smart Contract has been coded to accept Ethers only, as this increases the level of security for supporters. However, we have decided to also accept Bitcoin and Fiat currencies for minimum amounts equivalent to USD 25K, which we’ll then convert to Ethers for you. We need to set a minimum level so we can cover our conversion costs to ETH.
2. You can invest as little as 0.1 ETH
The minimum amount to invest is 0.1 ETH, for contributions in ETH. As mentioned before, the minimum amounts in BTC and FIAT currencies is currently $25,000 USD (equivalent).
3. You can sign up in our website
The ‘Join Sale’ button adds you to the whitelist. Please fill in the application online and do not forget to include the ETH address you want to use. Then we will e-mail you with further details and the Ethereum address to send the funds.
4. You need a token compatible Ethereum wallet
DO NOT PARTICIPATE TO THE GCP TOKEN SALE DIRECTLY FROM ANY CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGES. The following wallets are known to be compatible with Ethereum tokens (ERC-20 standard):

5. There’s a 70% bonus during Pre-Sale
The pre-sale period will run for three weeks with 70% bonus: from February 12 to March 4, 2018.
6. Receiving your tokens is very easy
You will receive your tokens on March 28, 2018: the day after the end of the GCP token sale.
7. Exchanges will be announced later
You will be able to trade your tokens once they are listed on a cryptocurrency exchange and on our own platform, when we have developed this and subject to regulatory approval. We are choosing Exchanges at this stage and we will inform our community when it’s been decided.
8. US citizens must have an “accredited investor” status to participate
If you are a citizen or resident of the United States of America, you MUST be an accredited investor in order to participate in our token sales, due to current US legislation. If this is the case, please send the documentation proving your accredited investor status, via email, to ico@globcoin.io.
